K2-18 b could have dimethyl sulfide in its air. But is it a sign of life?
Fresh data from the James Webb Space Telescope provide more evidence for what some consider a biosignature

Don't know. Don't really care. We'll never get there.

In part, I don't care, because I've never doubted that there is life someplace other than Earth. So the mere fact that it shows that there is life outside Earth isn't itself a big deal.

life on Venus ?

Maybe in the clouds. The surface is a hellscape ill suited to organic life.

NASA didn't know what was under the clouds until it sent a probe to check it out. It was surprised by the result.
